1993 - Present Co-Founder & Executive Director, Gift from Within

Gift from Within (www.giftfromwithin.org) is a private non-profit service organization for post-traumatic stress disorder and related syndromes. We develop and disseminate educational material, including videotapes, articles, books maintain a resource catalog; coordinate and direct a unique international peer-support network of PTSD survivors.

As executive director of GFW, I produced, directed and distributed the videos " PTSD in Children: Move in the Rhythm of the Child" & "When Helping Hurts: Sustaining Trauma Workers." These programs are used by professionals and organizations world-wide.

1980-1987. Co-founder & President of the Maine Line Card Company,

Maine Line Cards was the first greeting card company to develop and successfully market humorous greeting cards for women, establishing what is now a standard industry category. Responsible for company management, supervision of administrative and creative staff, PR and marketing, and sales management.

Maine Line was featured on numerous TV programs, including The Today Show, Woman Watch and PM Magazine. Articles the company appeared in Savvy, Ms, and others.

When sales volume topped $1 million in l987, sold Maine Line to major impulse gift marketer.
